Orlite Industries Millennium 2000 was founded in 1959 and researches, designs, develops and manufactures advanced products made of lightweight composite materials. The company has three core business divisions: aerospace, protective military components and fiberglass-reinforced polyester cabinets.
The company has been the sole supplier of fire-resistant ammunition containers for tanks and combat vehicles using active heat- and fire-isolating technology since 1978. Orlite is also the Israel Aerospace Industries’ sole supplier of interior kits designed to convert passenger jets to cargo planes for the B-737, B-747 and B-767. In addition, Orlite manufactures lightweight ballistics helmets and pilot shell helmets, as well as a wide range of fiberglass enclosures and bases for outdoor cabinets.
