A: Economic Consuls are located in four cities and are responsible for specific regions around the country. Our offices are in: New York (covering the Northeast), Los Angeles (South and Southwest), Chicago (Midwest), Houston (Southeast) and Washington D.C. We also have a Trade Commissioner in Toronto who covers Canada.

A: Israel hosts numerous business conferences and trade shows each year in industries as varied as jewelry and water technology. A: The Israel-U.S. Binational Industrial Research and Development (BIRD) Foundation is a program that promotes bilateral trade by funding joint R&D projects between Israeli and U.S. companies. The BIRD Foundation funds up to 50 percent of join R&D efforts for approximately 20 projects each year.
The Israeli government offers a variety of investment incentives for international companies, including loans, grants and tax holidays. Manufacturers can also benefit from Israel’s free trade agreements with the U.S., E.U., and other nations. Please visit the section entitled “Invest in Israel ” for more detailed information.
A: Israel Bonds raise funding for infrastructure projects and other economic development initiatives in Israel. Bonds can be purchased through the State of Israel Bonds organization.
